Tank builds ladder-frame off-road SUVs and is the most distinctive thing Great Wall Motor sells. The first cars were launched under the Wey badge; the name was separated into its own brand in March 2021, leaving Wey with the road-going SUVs.

The numbering runs by size: the Tank 300 is the compact model, then the 400, 500 and 700, with a Tank 330 variant added in 2024. All of them use the ladder-frame Tank platform, offered with petrol, hybrid and plug-in hybrid power.

Tank sold 232,713 vehicles in calendar 2025, second only to Haval within the group. It is exported across Great Wall's network: the company's own country sites confirm Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Thailand, Brazil and Kazakhstan among others. It is not sold in the United States.

A brand of Great Wall Motor Company Limited, separated from Wey in March 2021.
