Four tools for the questions with a lookup behind them
Each one reads the same records the pages read, so a tool and a page can never give different answers. Each one also shows its whole table without JavaScript — the script adds the search box, not the facts.
-
Is it Chinese-owned?
Type any car brand and read the ownership chain, the stake at each step and the year it began. 192 written answers and 106 brands in the graph — it answers no as confidently as yes.
-
Plate decoder
Enter a plate prefix in characters or in pinyin — 京A (Jīng), 津A (Jīn) — and get the province, the city and what the colour says about the vehicle. 33 provinces and municipalities.
-
China price translator
A Chinese sticker price in US dollars, pounds, euros and Australian dollars at a stored rate with the rate date on screen, currently 4 September 2026. It is a conversion, never a prediction of what the car would cost you.
-
Availability matrix
Brand against country: sold, announced, withdrawn or never. 941 cells across 119 markets, each linking to the market page behind it.
What they are built on
106 brands, 149 models, 119 markets and one ownership graph. Nothing in a tool is typed into it: if a fact is not in the data it is not in the answer, and where a figure was never published the tool says so rather than filling the gap.
