Ora is Great Wall Motor's small-car brand, created in 2018 to sell battery-electric hatchbacks. Its best-known model reached Europe and Australia as the Funky Cat, sold in China as the Good Cat and now often numbered as the Ora 03.
The line-up has been the Good Cat/03, the Ballet Cat, the Lightning Cat fastback and, more recently, the Ora 5 compact SUV — which breaks the brand's electric-only rule by also being offered with petrol, hybrid and plug-in hybrid power in some markets.
Ora sold 48,289 vehicles in calendar 2025, down 23.7% on the year and the only Great Wall brand to fall. It is the group's main brand in the UK, where the local Great Wall website is an Ora one, and it is sold in Germany and elsewhere in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Thailand, Brazil, Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. It has never been sold in the United States.
