The Ora 03 is GWM's small electric hatchback, sold in China since November 2020 as the Good Cat (好猫). It is 4,235 mm long on a 2,650 mm wheelbase, with retro styling that has drawn comparisons to several twentieth-century European small cars, and it is built at Taizhou in Zhejiang as well as in Thailand and Indonesia.
The name has changed more than the car. Europe got it as the Ora Funky Cat in October 2022 and renamed it Ora 03 in 2024; Australia sold it simply as the GWM Ora from 5 July 2023; Brazil and Indonesia use Ora 03; Thailand, Malaysia and Mexico kept Good Cat. Battery options have run from a 47.8 kWh LFP pack rated at 400 km NEDC to a 63.1 kWh NMC pack rated at 500 km NEDC, with a 57.7 kWh pack rated at 430 km CLTC after the 2025 facelift. Motor outputs are 107 kW, or 126–128 kW in the GT and facelifted versions.
Euro NCAP awarded the Ora Funky Cat five stars in 2022 with 92 per cent for adult occupant protection, but the result page could not be opened at any of the addresses tried, so no NCAP record is carried here. GWM Australia's current model list shows a newer, larger Ora 5 SUV — a different vehicle, sold in China as the 欧拉5 — rather than the Good Cat.

- The Ora Good Cat (欧拉好猫). GWM names its Ora electric models after cats.

- Yes. Funky Cat was the European name from October 2022 until the end of 2023; GWM renamed it Ora 03 in 2024.
- How far does the Ora 03 go on a charge?
- It depends on the battery: 400 km NEDC for the 47.8 kWh pack, 500 km NEDC for the 63.1 kWh pack, and 430 km CLTC for the 57.7 kWh pack after the 2025 facelift. NEDC and CLTC figures are not comparable with WLTP.
