The Ora 07 is the export name for the Ora Lightning Cat (欧拉闪电猫), a mid-size electric fastback saloon GWM has built since 2022 on its Lemon E platform. It is 4,871 mm long on a 2,870 mm wheelbase and stands only 1,500 mm tall.
GWM offers an 83.5 kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt battery with a claimed 640 km on the NEDC cycle, a 150 kW front-wheel-drive motor or a 300 kW all-wheel-drive pair producing 680 Nm, and a claimed 0–100 km/h time of 4.3 seconds.
The Lightning Cat has been a small seller: 10,321 units in China in 2023, 3,522 in 2024 and 483 in the first part of 2025. Exports have been limited — Thailand took it as the Grand Cat in 2022, Singapore as the Ora 07 in 2025 — and it is not sold in Britain, Australia or the United States. A wagon version, the Lightning Cat Touring, has been announced.
