The Neta Aya is a small battery-electric crossover from Neta, the car brand of Hozon New Energy. It launched in 2020 as the Neta V and was renamed Aya in August 2023. It is 4,070 mm long on a 2,420 mm wheelbase, with a single 70 kW motor and a quoted 4.1 seconds from 0 to 50 km/h. Neta's own site listed it at RMB 69,800 with 401 km of CLTC range on 4 September 2026.
It was Neta's export workhorse in South-East Asia. Thailand came first in August 2022, followed by Indonesia and Malaysia in October 2023; a facelifted Neta V-II arrived in Thailand in March 2024 at 549,000 to 569,000 baht.
ASEAN NCAP assessed the car in 2024 under the 2021–2025 protocol and recorded a total of 28.54 out of 100 — 7.89 for adult occupant protection, 13.51 for child occupant protection and 7.14 for safety assist — for markets including Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
