Stelato is one of the brands in Huawei's Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance, the arrangement through which Huawei sells cars it does not build. BAIC BluePark, BAIC Group's listed electric-car company, makes the vehicles at its Beijing plant; Huawei supplies the driver-assistance system, the cockpit software, much of the product definition, and the shops the cars are sold in.
The brand was established in December 2023 and its first car, the S9 full-size electric saloon, was launched on 6 August 2024 with deliveries from the following day. It arrived in two versions - Max at CNY 399,800 and Ultra at CNY 449,800 - with a 100 kWh battery developed jointly by Huawei and CATL, a claimed CLTC range up to 816 km, and Huawei's ADS 3.0 driver assistance. An S9T estate followed in 2025 and an updated S9 was launched on 20 November 2025 at unchanged prices. A G9 full-size SUV took more than 15,000 pre-orders in its first 72 hours in August 2026.

Beijing Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission owns BAIC Group at 100%.

- Does Huawei make Stelato cars?
