The Stelato S9 is a full-size saloon and the first model of Stelato, the brand created by Huawei and the state-owned BAIC Group within Huawei's Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance. It was announced on 31 May 2024, priced on 6 August 2024 and delivered from December 2024. BAIC BluePark builds the car on the group's BE22 (Polaris) architecture; Huawei supplies the motors, batteries, driver-assistance system and cockpit software and sells the car in its own stores.
It is 5,160 mm long on a 3,050 mm wheelbase. Battery-electric versions use a 100 kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt pack, rated at 816 km CLTC with a single 227 kW rear motor or 721 km with a 385 kW dual-motor arrangement. Extended-range versions pair a 1.5-litre turbocharged generator engine with a 36 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate or 53.4 kWh pack, rated at 372 km electric-only and 1,378 km combined on CLTC.
The extended-range version went on pre-sale in March 2025 at RMB 318,000, about 20% below the battery-electric car. An updated S9 went on pre-sale on 7 November 2025 at RMB 319,800 and was launched on 20 November 2025.
