Radar is Geely's electric pickup brand, launched in 2022 around an outdoor-lifestyle positioning rather than the work-truck framing usual in the segment. Its first and main product is the RD6, a dual-cab electric pickup; the model is also sold as the Radar Horizon.
The brand keeps its research and development in Hangzhou and builds vehicles at a plant in Zibo, Shandong. It has since been folded into Geely Auto rather than run as a separate company.
Exports use a different name. Because a Singaporean tyre company holds the Radar trademark abroad, the export brand is Riddara. The company's international site linked only a Thai market site when checked, so the export country list here is a floor rather than a full picture.
Consolidated into Geely Auto after launch; the brand company is Radar New Energy Vehicle (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd.

Who owns Radar?
Li Shufu owns Geely Holding at 82.23% since 1986.
Li Shufu founded Geely Holding in 1986 and owns 82.233% of it directly; his son Li Xingxing holds 8.0583% and Ningbo Yima Enterprise Management Partnership 9.7087%, which Polestar's 2025 annual report summarises as Li Shufu owning about 91.9% directly or indirectly.

Radar New Energy Vehicle (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. was launched in 2022 as an electric pickup and outdoor-lifestyle brand, with R&D in Hangzhou and a plant in Zibo, Shandong.
