Under the November 2024 reorganisation Geely Holding transferred its direct Zeekr holding to Geely Automobile Holdings, taking the listed company to about 62.8%. Geely Automobile Holdings then bought in the shares it did not own, paying US$2.687 in cash or 1.23 new Geely shares per Zeekr share; the merger completed on 22 December 2025, trading in Zeekr's ADSs was suspended the same day, and Zeekr became a wholly owned subsidiary of Geely Automobile Holdings, which Geely Holding controls.

What does Zeekr mean?
Zeekr explains its name in three parts: ZE for zero, E for evolving the electric era and KR for krypton, the gas that glows when electrified. The Chinese name 极氪 (Jíkè) pairs the character for 'extreme' with the character for krypton.
Who owns Zeekr?
Geely Automobile Holdings owns all of it. The Hong Kong-listed company bought in the Zeekr shares it did not already hold and Zeekr's New York listing ended on 22 December 2025.
Is Zeekr sold in the United States?
No. Zeekr sells in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Latin America and Australia, but it has no US market and has not announced one.
