The G6 is XPENG's mid-size electric SUV and its highest-volume export model. It was shown at Auto Shanghai on 18 April 2023 and Chinese deliveries began on 29 June 2023. It is built on SEPA 2.0, XPENG's 800-volt silicon-carbide platform, which the company says allows a 10–80% charge in about 12 minutes.
A facelift launched in China in March 2025 with a full-width front light bar, a 15.6-inch centre screen and revised batteries: a 68.5 kWh LFP pack rated at 625 km and an 80.8 kWh NMC pack rated at 725 km, both on the CLTC cycle. European WLTP figures for the car run from 435 km to 570 km depending on version; XPENG's Dutch site quotes 470 km for the rear-drive Standard Range.
The G6 reached Australia in September 2024 through the distributor TrueEV, the United Kingdom in February 2025 at £39,990, and continental Europe in June 2025. It is also sold in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Hong Kong. Both Euro NCAP (2024) and ANCAP (2024) rated it five stars.
