It is a 4,997 mm saloon on a 3,000 mm wheelbase, built on Xiaomi's Modena platform, and it is the most-searched Chinese car model in the United States even though it has never been sold there.
The launch line-up had three versions: Standard at 215,900 CNY with a 73.6 kWh LFP pack and 700 km CLTC, Pro at 245,900 CNY with 94.3 kWh and 830 km, and Max at 299,900 CNY with a 101 kWh NMC pack, 495 kW and 800 km. Xiaomi announced that an SU7 Ultra lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7:04.957 on 1 April 2025 with Vincent Radermecker driving, claiming records for the fastest mass-produced electric car and the fastest road-legal four-door.
