MG MG Cyberster: range, price, specs and where it is sold

The Cyberster is a two-seat electric roadster, MG's first open sports car since the TF and the only convertible in SAIC's export range. It was shown as a concept at Auto Shanghai in April 2021, revealed in production form to British press in April 2023 and made its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed that July. It is 4,535 mm long, 1,913 mm wide and 1,329 mm tall on a 2,690 mm wheelbase, with scissor doors and a powered fabric roof.
Two battery sizes are published, 64 kWh and 77 kWh, both nickel-manganese-cobalt cells from CATL, with Chinese ranges quoted at 501-580 km CLTC. MG Australia lists a 250 kW rear-drive car at 507 km WLTP and 5.2 seconds to 100 km/h, and a 375 kW all-wheel-drive car at 443 km WLTP and 3.2 seconds. Ireland's June 2026 price list carries the same two cars as the 340 PS Exclusive and the 503 PS GT.
The Cyberster is built at SAIC's Ningde plant in Fujian, the same site that supplies the MG4 and the S5 EV, and it is sold in China under the Latin-letter name rather than a Chinese one. Euro NCAP has not published a result for it.

A Chinese sticker price is not what the same car costs abroad: tariffs, specification and local taxes all differ. The price translator converts it at a stored rate and says so.
