The Lynk & Co 01 is the brand's first car and the model it launched with, in China on 4 August 2017. It is a compact SUV on CMA, the Geely–Volvo compact platform that also underpins the Volvo XC40, and it was the first vehicle to show what the Geely–Volvo engineering partnership could produce for a new marque.
In China the 01 has been sold with petrol, full-hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains; the current domestic car listed on Lynk & Co's Chinese site is a 2.0 TD petrol all-wheel-drive model rated 187 kW, 4,549 mm long, offered in September 2026 from CNY 119,800. Europe gets only electrified versions: a 1.5-litre full hybrid and a 1.5-litre plug-in hybrid with a 9 kWh battery rated at about 70 km of electric running on the WLTP cycle and 261 PS (192 kW) combined. The European car is published at 4,512 mm long on the same 2,734 mm wheelbase.
The 01 was the only model Lynk & Co offered in Europe for its first years there, sold through club-style city sites and a monthly membership as well as outright purchase. Euro NCAP tested a left-hand-drive 1.5 HEV in 2021 and awarded five stars, with 96% for adult occupant protection. Since March 2026 Volvo Cars has acted as Lynk & Co's exclusive importer in Europe, selling the cars through its own retailers. The 01 is not sold in the United Kingdom or the United States.
