The Jetour T2 is the boxy off-road SUV that turned Jetour — Chery Holding's value SUV brand — into a serious export player in the Gulf and Latin America. It is a unibody vehicle on Jetour's Kunlun architecture, 4,785 mm long, 2,006 mm wide and 1,880 mm tall with 220 mm of ground clearance, and has been in production since September 2023.
Petrol versions use a 1.5-litre turbo of 135 kW or a 2.0-litre turbo of 187 kW, with front- or all-wheel drive. The plug-in hybrid, sold in China as the Shanhai T2, combines a 1.5-litre turbo with a three-speed dedicated hybrid transmission and either two motors (283 kW) or three (455 kW), on 26.7 kWh or 43.24 kWh batteries. Jetour quotes about 100 km and 161 km of electric-only running for the two packs; the sources checked did not agree on the test cycle, so the figures are recorded as manufacturer claims.
Jetour's China site listed the Traveller from 139,900 yuan and the Shanhai T2 from 179,900 yuan on 4 September 2026. Abroad the car keeps the T2 name almost everywhere — the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and South Africa — with Italy the exception, where it is rebadged ICH-X K3.
