The Jolion is GWM's compact family SUV and the best-known Chinese car in Australia by search volume. It sits on GWM's L.E.M.O.N. B30 platform, measures 4,472 mm long on a 2,700 mm wheelbase, and is built in China at Baoding as well as in Russia, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
GWM Australia sells six trims in two powertrains: a 1.5-litre turbo petrol of 105–140 kW, and an HEV self-charging hybrid pairing a 1.5-litre engine with a 115 kW motor and a small 1.6 kWh battery for 140 kW and 375 Nm combined. It is not a plug-in hybrid, so there is no electric-only range figure. Driveaway prices ran from A$23,990 to A$37,990 when checked on 4 September 2026.
The Chinese car is the Haval Chulian (初恋, 'first love'), a name GWM chose for young first-time buyers and did not export; Haval's Chinese site no longer listed it on 4 September 2026.
