The Haval H7 is the export name Australia and South Africa use for the car GWM sells at home as the Big Dog (哈弗大狗) and in Russia as the Dargo. It is a squared-off crossover on GWM's L.E.M.O.N. B30 platform; the second generation, in production since 2023, is 4,705 mm long on a 2,810 mm wheelbase.
GWM Australia lists one variant, the H7 Vanta HEV: a 1.5-litre turbo petrol-electric hybrid of 179 kW and 530 Nm through a dedicated hybrid transmission, front-wheel drive, five seats, from A$43,990 driveaway. In China the range is broader, with a 2.0-litre turbo petrol of 175 kW and a plug-in hybrid of 240 kW.
Haval's Chinese site listed the 2026 Big Dog from 123,900 yuan, the Big Dog PLUS from 135,800 yuan and the PLUS plug-in hybrid from 165,800 yuan on 4 September 2026. GWM Australia's model page does not publish dimensions or an ANCAP rating for the H7; the dimensions given here are the second-generation Chinese figures.
