Denza Denza D9: range, price, specs and where it is sold
Facts checked
The D9 is a large luxury MPV and the model that re-established Denza after BYD took control of the brand. It went on sale in China on 23 August 2022 in two forms sold side by side: a DM-i plug-in hybrid and a battery-electric version with a 103.36 kWh Blade pack. At 5,250 mm long on a 3,110 mm wheelbase it seats six or seven across three rows.
The 2025 model year, announced in December 2024, runs to eight variants, five plug-in hybrids and three electric cars, with the electric version undercutting the most expensive hybrid. Chinese prices started at CNY 339,800 for the hybrid and CNY 349,800 for the electric car, and further variants added in August 2025 lowered the entry price again.
The D9 is also Denza's export spearhead. It was the brand's launch model in Thailand on 3 November 2024 at THB 1,999,900, has reached Australia, and headed the European introduction at the Palais Garnier in Paris on 8 April 2026. Denza's German site listed it as pre-orderable in a band of EUR 80,000 to 90,000, with emissions values still pending type approval when this record was checked.
