The Arcfox Alpha S is a large battery-electric saloon from Arcfox, the premium electric brand of the state-owned BAIC Group. It was presented in January 2021 and is 4,980 mm long on a 2,915 mm wheelbase. Standard versions use 67.3 kWh or 93.6 kWh packs, rated at 525 km and 708 km on the older NEDC cycle, with 163 kW rear-drive or 324 kW four-wheel-drive outputs.
Its significance is the Huawei Inside version, the Alpha S HI. Volume deliveries began on 18 July 2022 at RMB 397,900 and RMB 429,900, and BAIC and Huawei described it as the first production car with Huawei's full-stack intelligent vehicle solution. It carried three lidars, six millimetre-wave radars, twelve ultrasonic sensors, nine cameras for the driver-assistance system and four surround-view cameras, with 400 TOPS of computing power, and was the first car with a HarmonyOS cabin. Peak output was quoted at over 473 kW with a 3.5-second 0–100 km/h time and 800-volt charging at up to 187 kW.
Huawei Inside was a different commercial arrangement from the HIMA brands: BAIC remained the carmaker and Huawei was a full-stack supplier rather than a co-branding and retail partner. Arcfox's current line-up, checked on 4 September 2026, leads with the Alpha S5, Alpha T5 and Alpha S6 and no longer lists the plain Alpha S.

- Is Huawei Inside the same as the AITO or Luxeed arrangement?
- No. Under Huawei Inside, BAIC remained the carmaker and Huawei was a full-stack technology supplier. In the HIMA brands — AITO, Luxeed, Stelato and Maextro — Huawei also co-brands the car and sells it through its own retail network.
- How far does the Arcfox Alpha S go?
