Arcfox is BAIC's premium electric brand, created in 2017 and sold by BAIC BluePark, the group's listed new-energy company. Its first car was the Lite, a two-seat microcar aimed at premium buyers; the range now runs to saloons, SUVs and MPVs, including the Kaola people carrier designed around child seats.
The brand has been one of Huawei's earliest carmaking partners. BAIC BluePark and Huawei began working together in September 2021 and in May 2022 launched the Arcfox αS HI, an early car built around Huawei's driver-assistance system. That relationship later produced a separate joint brand, Stelato.
Sales have climbed steeply from a small base: 4,993 in 2021, 11,895 in 2022, 30,016 in 2023 and 81,017 in 2024. BAIC BluePark reported revenue of CNY 27.9 billion for 2025 with a net loss of CNY 4.56 billion, and announced in February 2025 that it planned to rename itself BAIC Arcfox New Energy Automobile.
