The second-generation Captiva is a rebadged Baojun 530, launched in Colombia in November 2018 and sold across Latin America, South-East Asia and the Middle East. Right-hand-drive cars for Thailand, Brunei and Fiji were built in Indonesia until 2020. A third generation based on the Wuling Starlight S was planned for 2025 as an electric and plug-in hybrid.
