Nammi is Dongfeng's small-electric-car brand. It launched formally in August 2023, though the company behind it was set up on 28 October 2020 and had already sold rebadged models under the Nano name.
The first car developed in-house was the Nammi 01, a subcompact hatchback that went on sale in 2024, followed by the Nammi 06 compact SUV in 2025. The earlier Nano EX1 and Nano Box, sold from 2020 to 2024, came out of eGT New Energy, a small-car venture Dongfeng ran with Renault and Nissan.
Since August 2023 Nammi has been managed alongside Aeolus and the eπ line inside one Dongfeng passenger-vehicle organisation, while keeping its own name on the cars.
