Spyker is Dutch. Zhejiang Youngman of China bought 29.9% for EUR 10m in August 2012 and set up two joint ventures with it, but nothing came of them; Spyker filed for bankruptcy in January 2021 and founder Victor Muller regained control in October 2025 after a settlement with the trustee. Spyker owned Saab Automobile from January 2010 until Saab's bankruptcy in December 2011.
