The P7+ is a large XPENG saloon launched in China in November 2024, shown internationally at the Paris Motor Show that October. Built on SEPA 2.0, it is 5,056 mm long on a 3,000 mm wheelbase — longer than the P7 it sits beside rather than replaces.
It is offered as a battery-electric car with LFP packs from 49.2 kWh to 76.3 kWh, quoted at 602–725 km on the CLTC cycle and 455–530 km on WLTP, and as a range-extender with 430 km of electric-only CLTC range. Headline output is 180–230 kW. A facelift in January 2026 lowered the starting price to 186,800 CNY and, XPENG said, took the car into 36 new markets, with European production beginning at Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria.
The P7+ should not be confused with the second-generation P7, a separate car on the E29 platform revealed in May 2025: that model is 5,017 mm long on a 3,008 mm wheelbase, uses 74.9 kWh LFP and 92.2 kWh NMC packs and is quoted at 702–820 km CLTC.

No NCAP result is recorded for the P7+. That means no published result was found on a testing body's own site — not that the car was tested and failed, and not that it was never tested.
Xpeng P7+: questions people ask
- Is the XPENG P7+ the same car as the new XPENG P7?
- No. The P7+ launched in November 2024 on the SEPA 2.0 platform, while a separate second-generation P7 on the E29 platform was revealed in May 2025 and went on sale that autumn. They are sold alongside each other.
- How much is the XPENG P7+ in China?
- The January 2026 facelift starts at 186,800 CNY. The original 2024 pre-order price was 209,800 CNY.
- Does the XPENG P7+ have a petrol engine?
- Some versions do. Alongside the battery-electric cars XPENG offers a range-extender P7+, in which a petrol engine generates electricity and never drives the wheels; its electric-only range is 430 km on the CLTC cycle.
- Is the XPENG P7+ sold outside China?
