The MONA M03 is XPENG's cheapest car, a five-door liftback introduced in July 2024 and delivered from 30 August 2024. It came out of the vehicle programme XPENG acquired from Didi in 2023, and MONA is a backronym: XPENG says it stands for 'Made Of New AI'.
At 4,780 mm long on a 2,815 mm wheelbase it is front-wheel drive, with 140–160 kW motors and two FinDreams LFP packs — 51.8 kWh rated at 515 km and 62.2 kWh rated at 620 km on the CLTC cycle, plus a 580 km Max version. Prices at launch started at 119,800 CNY, running to about 160,000 CNY across the range.
The M03 has not been announced for export. XPENG's global site lists a MONA L03, but that is a separate SUV dated 2026 rather than an overseas badge for this car.
