Leapmotor C10: range, price, specs and where it is sold
Facts checked
The C10 is Leapmotor's mid-size SUV and the model that carried the brand into Europe. It was shown at the 2023 Munich Motor Show, launched in China in March 2024, and reached European showrooms in September 2024 through Leapmotor International, the joint venture that Stellantis owns 51% of and Leapmotor 49%.
It is built on the LEAP 3.0 platform at 4,740 mm long on a 2,825 mm wheelbase, and is unusual in being sold in two powertrains under one name. The battery-electric car uses 52.9 kWh, 69.9 kWh, 74.9 kWh or 81.9 kWh LFP packs, quoted at 410–605 km CLTC and 424–438 km WLTP. The REEV version pairs a 28.4 kWh pack with a 1.5-litre petrol generator that never drives the wheels, giving 170 km of electric-only CLTC range and a combined figure Leapmotor puts near 950 km.
Distribution runs through Stellantis dealers, which took the C10 to Australia on 23 October 2024, Malaysia on 16 October 2024, South Africa on 15 October 2024, New Zealand on 20 November 2024, Thailand on 28 November 2024 and Singapore in October 2025; local assembly began at Gurun in Kedah, Malaysia, in July 2026. Reports of C10 assembly at Stellantis's Zaragoza plant in Spain were not confirmed: the Spanish plans that could be verified concern the B10 and an Opel-badged version of it. Euro NCAP (2024) and ANCAP (2024) both rated the C10 five stars.
