The EH7 is Hongqi's mid-to-large battery-electric saloon, launched in China in 2024 at RMB 229,800 to RMB 309,800. It is 4,980 mm long on a 3,000 mm wheelbase and uses FAW's FME electric platform.
Three packs have been published: 75 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate from FinDreams, 85 kWh CATL Shenxing and 111 kWh CATL Qilin nickel-manganese-cobalt, giving CLTC figures from 600 km to 820 km. Outputs run from 253 kW to 455 kW.
Hongqi opened European pre-sales for the EH7 in October 2024 at a figure reported as around €50,000; no confirmed European list price was available on 4 September 2026, so none is recorded here. A restyled successor, the Hongqi Tiangong 07, was shown in August 2026 with 74.6 kWh and 85.3 kWh packs and CLTC figures to 730 km.
