The A07 is the first model of Changan's Nevo brand, known in China as 启源 (Qiyuan). It was launched on 27 September 2023 as a mid-to-large fastback saloon, 4,905 mm long on a 2,900 mm wheelbase, in three extended-range versions and two battery-electric versions.
Extended-range cars pair a 1.5-litre generator engine of 70 kW with a 160 kW drive motor and a 28.39 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate pack for 200 km of electric-only CLTC range. Battery-electric cars use a 190 kW motor with a 58.1 kWh pack for 515 km CLTC; a larger 80 kWh pack rated at about 710 km CLTC is also published. Launch prices ran from RMB 155,900 for the entry extended-range version and RMB 166,900 for the battery-electric.
Nevo is Changan's mass-market new-energy brand, separate from Deepal and from the premium Avatr joint venture. No export market for the A07 had been confirmed as of 4 September 2026.
