The AITO M9 is the flagship of Huawei's Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance, launched in China on 26 December 2023. Seres Group builds it in Chongqing on the company's MF platform. Huawei supplies the HarmonyOS cockpit, the ADS driver-assistance system, the electric drive and the retail channel; Seres owns the brand and the factory.
An updated second generation was launched on 27 May 2026 from RMB 479,800, with an extended Ultimate edition from RMB 649,800. AITO's own figures for it are a 120 kWh battery-electric version rated at 750 km CLTC, and an extended-range version with a 75 kWh pack rated at 422 km electric-only and 1,405 km combined. The standard body is 5,285 mm long on a 3,125 mm wheelbase; the Ultimate is 5,402 mm on a 3,236 mm wheelbase. AITO quotes a drag coefficient of 0.249.
The first generation was offered in six seats only; four-seat versions were added in September 2025 at RMB 559,800 for the extended-range car and RMB 589,800 for the battery-electric. In March 2026 Huawei opened pre-orders for the M9 and the Maextro S800 with what it described as an 896-channel lidar. The M9 launched in the United Arab Emirates in February 2026 under the name AITO 9.
