The long-wheelbase S60L went into production at Chengdu in October 2014 and was shipped to the United States as the S60 Inscription. It is the first passenger car built in China to be sold to consumers in the United States -- a year ahead of the Buick Envision -- and it is the answer to the question people usually get wrong. From the 2019 model year the S60L was sold in China only.
