The second-generation Nautilus is built only by Changan Ford at Hangzhou, from September 2023 for the 2024 model year, and went on sale in North America in early 2024 as an import from China. Ford moved the car there when it retooled Oakville Assembly in Ontario for electric vehicles. In August 2026 Ford said it would stop importing the Chinese-built Nautilus to the United States by 2030 and shift production home.
