Chevrolet is American, a division of General Motors, with no Chinese owner. Several Chevrolets sold outside the United States are Chinese cars with a bowtie badge: the Groove is a rebadged Baojun 510 and, from 2025, a Wuling Xingchi, and the Captiva is a rebadged Baojun 530, both built by SAIC-GM-Wuling, in which GM holds 44%. They are sold in Latin America, the Middle East and South-East Asia, not in North America.
