Kaicene is Changan's light commercial vehicle brand, covering vans, light trucks and pickups. Changan's global site lists it as CHANGAN LCV, one of the group's five brands alongside Changan, Deepal, Avatr and Nevo.
The range includes the Ruixing M60, M80 and M90 vans, the Honor pickups and the Star truck line. The brand is a rebranding of Changan's long-standing commercial business, which goes back to the microvans the company began building under Suzuki licence in 1984 and which for years accounted for most of its volume.
Changan's own commercial line is separate from Oshan, a passenger-car brand the group discontinued in 2024; Oshan's models and dealers went to the Changan brand, not to Kaicene.
Changan groups the brand under the heading CHANGAN LCV on its global site. The 2018 founding year is the date usually given for Changan's commercial-vehicle rebranding; I could not confirm it from a Changan document.
