Lotus Emeya: range, price, specs and where it is sold
Facts checked
The Emeya is Lotus's four-door electric grand tourer, revealed on 7 September 2023 and in production from 2024. Like the Eletre it is assembled at Wuhan Lotus Technology's plant in Wuhan, Hubei province - a British sports-car marque's saloon, engineered and built in China.
Lotus offers it as the Emeya 600 and the Emeya 900, the latter quoted at 905 hp (about 675 kW) with a two-speed transmission on the rear axle. Lotus UK quotes up to 379 miles (610 km) on the WLTP cycle for the Emeya 600, an 800-volt battery system and charging at up to 420 kW. The on-the-road price shown in Lotus's own UK finance example is GBP 86,305; Wikipedia records a European launch price of EUR 106,400 in May 2024. Lotus has not published the pack size in kWh on its consumer pages, so it is left blank here.
Lotus Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: LOT), the Geely-controlled company that owns the Wuhan operation, completed its acquisition of the British Lotus business at Hethel on 25 August 2026, putting the sports cars, the engineering consultancy and the Chinese electric-car business under a single corporate structure.
