CFMoto makes motorcycles, ATVs and side-by-sides in Hangzhou and is the Chinese two-wheeler brand with the largest presence in Western markets. The motorcycle range runs from small-capacity commuters through the 450 and 700 twins to the 800 and 1000 adventure and naked models; in the United States the adventure line carries the Ibex name.
Off-road four-wheelers matter as much as motorcycles to the business. CFMoto held 9.2% of the combined US ATV and side-by-side market when it opened its Minnesota headquarters in late 2023, and the United States accounted for close to 40% of about $1.6 billion of annual global sales at that point.
The brand's technical link to KTM is real but partial. CFMoto builds KTM's LC8c parallel-twin engines and runs the CFMOTO-KTMR2R joint venture in Hangzhou, in which KTM holds 49%. KTM's European distribution of CFMOTO and Zeeho products ended on 31 May 2025 during the Austrian company's insolvency. CFMoto's own machines are its own designs; it won the Moto3 world championship with David Alonso in 2024.
